The Ida eyewear is a subtly angled, richly hued frame shaped to an upswept silhouette, fitted with a tinted lens and an embedded Dagmar logo at the temple. The essence of Italian craftsmanship combined with technological innovation brings a new dimension of sophisticated production to this modern classic. Crafted in Italy from biodegradable Italian acetate and Bio-Nylon UV protective lenses, category FC3, to minimize material waste, the Ida is sculpted to a bold yet understated look and designed to wear on repeat.

The acetate used in the frames is made out of a mix of wood and cotton pulp. The process for the making of the cellulose acetate contains a treatment of two different fibers; seeds (cotton) and wood (from conifer and broadleaf deciduous trees). Both wood and cotton are renewable resources and available and easily accessible in our very close nature.
