OUR MATERIAL FOOTPRINT

HOW WE MEASURE OUR SUSTAINABILITY FOOTPRINT

We have since 2017 measured the footprint our fabrics leave behind in terms of water use, carbon dioxide emission and waste. From 2020 and onwards, we have extended our measurements to include full scope (STICA scope 1-3) measurements, and have also added product level footprint via Anthesis, measuring water use, carbon dioxide emission and waste for 15 key products from the SS22 collection.

SOME EXAMPLES OF INITIATIVES TAKEN TO LOWER OUR FOOTPRINT

-Replaced all garment bags to biodegradable

-Continuously replacing conventional materials with sustainable versions, such as;

-Replaced the cotton in all our denim styles to GOTS certified organic cotton

-Sourcing more regenerated wool and regenerated cashmere

-Replaced all conventional viscose with certified viscose

-Using only mulesing-free merino wool

-Our leather products are all crafted using 100% chrome-free leather and is a byproduct from the meat industry.

-Replaced all silk with OEKO-TEX® certified silk

-Sourcing FSC-certified rayon

-Using certified Lyocell

WHAT WE WILL FOCUS ON NEXT

-Increase product level measurements to include the full collection

-Receive company level certifications e.g., GOTS, RWS.

-Share product level data with our consumers
