1. Certified Rayon

Recycled Rayon

Rayon is a regenerated cellulose fibre similar to viscose. It is made from natural sources such as wood and agricultural products that are regenerated as cellulose fibres. Viscose and rayon are created through the same process, but the materials differ slightly. Rayon is a soft semi-synthetic fibre that is breathable, making it comfortable to wear. We use FSC-certified rayon in select garments. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification ensures that the forest is being managed to preserve biological diversity and benefit the lives of local people and workers while ensuring economic viability. In addition, House of Dagmar uses recycled rayon to produce beautiful garments with a lower environmental impact.

House of Dagmar occasionally uses rayon in select garments. We prefer to work with FSC-certified rayon and strive to increase this annually.

Hand wash cold with an eco-certified detergent. Do not machine wash. Always follow the specific instructions on the garment's care label.

Store your rayon garments on a padded hanger and avoid direct sunlight.
