1. Responsible Virgin Wool

Responsible Virgin Wool

Wool is a high-quality fibre that breathes. It has a very high absorbency, which means it wicks away sweat and moisture from the skin, keeping you dry and comfortable. Virgin wool has longer fibres than recycled wool, making it a durable and long-lasting material. All virgin wool used by House of Dagmar is certified by the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) to ensure that the wool comes from farms that are progressive regarding animal welfare and land management. The standard concerns farming practices such as handling, nutrition, shearing, medical treatments, and sustainable grazing methods.

House of Dagmar only uses virgin wool certified by the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) to create high-quality garments, without compromising the welfare of the animal.

Wool should not be machine-washed as it will bleed and shrink or even felt. Ventilate your Wool garments after every use. We recommend you to hand wash it gently in cool water – always follow the specific instructions on the garments care label.

Store your wool garments folded laying flat. Do not store the garment on a hanger, as it tends to stretch or get the shape of the hanger.
