Sustainability has been a core value to House of Dagmar since its inception 2005. For us, sustainability is to create products that last, with the least environmental footprint possible.

Our processes start with design, followed by careful selection of materials. We hold ourselves accountable to make sure we use the most sustainable alternative available, favoring materials with less impact on humans, animals and the environment, while still securing a good fit and quality of the garment. We are proud to say that a majority of our collections are made from organic, recycled, regenerated, animal friendly materials and that we are in the forefront in our use of certified materials.

Knowing that the production plays a crucial part in our overall footprint, our current focus is to secure that our suppliers improve in regards of both social and environmental sustainability.

We share all information available to hold ourselves accountable and keep the trust of the House of Dagmar customer. Today, we share our material footprint and our current focus is to enable information about our production processes and suppliers. Our efforts toward an even more sustainable product has been recognized by the industry, most recently winning the Copenhagen Fashion Week Sustainability award.

Stica Membership

We are members of the Swedish Textile Initiative for Climate Action (STICA). They support us in setting science-based targets with the ambition to reduce greenhouse gases. They publish a yearly progress report for the Swedish fashion industry and the individual brands as a part of aligning with the 1.5C pathway.
