We strive to create collections that are long-lasting, both in quality and style,
using production methods that are both animal and environmentally friendly.
House of Dagmar’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection is inspired by the iconic documentary film “Grey Gardens” from 1975, featuring Jackie Kennedy’s eccentric aunt and cousin who left their life in New York to settle in the infamous Grey Gardens Mansion in the East Hampton. Jackie’s cousin, Edith Bouvier Beale, was well-known within the fashion world for her eclectic style. Her creative elaboration with clothes and textiles has been a fundamental inspiration for this season.
We believe in creating collections of longevity and quality, with sustainability being our main focus. This vision lends well to our choice of using a neutral color palette, consisting of sand and ivory that mix well with rich chocolate, terracotta shades, and delicate hues of blue. We chose non-seasonal prints, such as geometric and timeless zebra.
Key products for this season are a slim ribbed dress and top. Knits crafted with a soft organic cotton crochet-stitching with an oversized tennis polo, and flattering technical knit dresses reflecting the silhouette of this season; tailored and feminine.
